Be kind

Be kind,
When you find yourself trapped in an angry corner,
Take a few steps back from time to time,
Let the space infront of you grow,
Then you'll see that there's more room for kindness,
And all the yelling and shouting
Cast nothing but hollow echoes,
That leaves cold vibrations
And leads into chaos.

Be kind,
Be genuinely kind.
For when you convinced yourself otherwise,
But allow excuses for underhanded actions and words,
Sabotaging and manipulating others to fill the gap in your broken self,
Then take a moment to ask yourself
Is this kindness, or mere pretense.
True kindness expects no compliments,
But mere appreciation and sincerity.

Be kind,
When you find in others what you wish you'd have in yourself,
Envy not and unravel not the veil that separates you,
But take a cool deep breath
To learn and understand what makes them so.
For behind every happy characters there's a sad story
That either makes or breaks the strongest of us all.
When that is put into perspectives,
You'll count your blessing,
And be really truly kind.
